Nevada Climate Forum
Welcome to the new Nevada Climate Forum! The Climate Team of Partners for a Sustainable Nevada (PSN) organized this forum as an online monthly gathering of climate and sustainability leaders in the state. The Forum will feature presentations and panel discussions on climate actions, challenges, updates, information, and solutions. Below you can register for each presentation you want to attend and you will receive a calendar invite and online event link.
The purposes of the forum are:
- Further participants' climate education
- Enhance awareness of the work being done in Nevada currently
- Allow speakers to receive input from the climate community
- Provide a venue for attendees to share relevant announcements
- Create a network of support to everyone working in the climate mitigation space
The focus of the forums is on solutions that help reduce Nevada’s net GHG emissions. The PSN Climate Team’s focus areas are distributed generation such as community solar, building electrification and efficiency, and closing the loop for end-of-life materials for renewable energy and electrification equipment. We’ve arranged a schedule of presentations on these and other climate topics and related sustainability issues. For more information or to volunteer to present in future months, please contact Brian Thornton at brian.thornton.nv@gmail.com, PSN Climate Team Lead.
