The Central Truckee Meadows Remediation District (CTMRD) is a defined area based on the presence (or likely presence) of contaminated groundwater [PCE] within Reno/Sparks metro area including portions of Washoe County.
The CTMRD program is being implemented by the Washoe County Department of Water Resources (DWR) to achieve the remediation plan objectives in accordance with Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 540A.250-285.
