The CNTA - (Map) is located approximately 85 miles northeast of Tonopah, Nevada, along U. S. Highway 6 in the north-central part of Hot Creek Valley, Nye County, Nevada.

UC-1 Central Mud Pit - Emplacement hole UC-1 was the only site used for a nuclear test at CNTA. Project FAULTLESS was detonated on January 19, 1968.

UC-4 - This emplacement hole was never used for testing. The hole was filled with drilling muds and permanently capped.

UC-3 - This emplacement hole was never used for testing. The hole was capped intact and left for future testing.
