The mission of Nevada's UIC Program is to prevent degradation of all potential and current underground sources of drinking water due to underground injection practices. The Nevada UIC Program is located at the Division of Environmental Protection's (DEP) offices in Carson City.

Also and Effective October 1, 2010, a new UIC Form U230 will be required for all water samples submitted to the UIC Program. See explanation memo [1 page]
