  • “Ground Water” means all subsurface water comprising the zone of saturation, including perched water.

  • “Hazardous Substance” includes, without limitation hazardous material, a regulated substance, a pollutant and a contaminant.

  • “Remediation Standard” means the level of concentration of a hazardous substance, hazardous material or a regulated substance in soil, ground water or surface water which corrective action is designed to achieve.

  • Unless remediation of a release may be terminated pursuant to NAC 445A.22745, the remediation standard for ground water shall be deemed the action level of the ground water.

  • The purpose of the Federal Facility Agreement and Consent Order (FFACO) is to identify sites of potential historic contamination and implement corrective actions based on public health and environmental considerations.
